With National Infertility Awareness Week in progre With National Infertility Awareness Week in progress, April 20-26, it’s a good time to ask God to help the 1 in 6 people worldwide struggling with this disease. Will you consider adding them to your prayer intentions? Let’s pray about it now. Lifting up those suffering from Infertility: Lord, we call out to You about our infertility, along with couples all over the earth in the same situation. You designed our bodies in Your perfection—we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Your plan from the beginning of creation was for us to “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.” (Genesis 1:28) We want to have children, but there are elements of this world that have affected our ability to get pregnant and carry a child to delivery. We know You have not caused this abnormality. Use this difficult season to draw us closer to You and build our trust in You—You are a faithful God. You can do the impossible. (Luke 1:37) Please heal us, Jesus, according to Your will and perfect timing. We want to raise children who will bring glory to Your name and expand Your kingdom. Shower us with Your grace. We plead Your Precious Blood over our bodies. Help us find the best medical care to correct our reproductive systems. Fill the minds of the specialists who treat us with Your wisdom and knowledge. Take authority over any issues interfering with our ability to conceive and safely carry a child to delivery. Bless our marriages and equip us to meet this challenge with steadfast faith. Let us pray together with our spouses, supporting each other with our medical procedures, and loving each other unconditionally. We ask that our infertility experiences honor Your creation and will for our families. We are prompted to worship the Lord with joy and g We are prompted to worship the Lord with joy and gladness. Verse 3 reminds us that “it is He who made us, and we are His, we are His people...” This is a God who knows all about your body and your husband’s—He has the power to reverse anything that obstructs pregnancy if it is His will. He is good. His faithfulness and love endures forever and continues through all generations.  He is free to see and is on call 24/7 to hear your praise and petitions. The most significant decision I made at the beginn The most significant decision I made at the beginning of my infertility journey was to recommit my faith and trust in Jesus Christ as my Savior. From that point forward, my medical path went hand in hand with prayer, seeking His wisdom.   You can ignite your spiritual journey by reading one of the gospels in the Bible and praying: ‘Jesus, reveal Yourself to me. Speak to me as I immerse myself in Your words. Please show me the way to go. I need Your help.’ Join the 2.64 billion Christians worldwide, and commit to making Jesus the Lord of your life:  Jesus, what a gift You are! You can do the impossible. Thank You for coming to Earth, fully God and fully man, to show us God’s plan for our lives.  * You demonstrated God’s love, mercy, and compassion.  * You taught us how to pray and be pure of heart before God when we repent our sins and forgive those who hurt us.  * You prompted us to call You for healing—for everything is possible with You. (Luke 1:27) The greatest act of all was Your unselfish surrender to God’s will— * You died for our sins on the cross, and were resurrected to heaven (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) where You are actively interceding for our every need according to God’s will and perfect timing.  * You promised that whoever believes in You will not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)    I accept that You, Jesus, are the only way to God the Father (John 14:6). I am committed to You as the Lord of my life. Help me to grow in faith and trust in You. I confess my sins and misdeeds, unholy and impure, before You. Please forgive me. Help me walk in Your light and lead a holy life based on Your words in the Holy Bible.     I thank You for the incredible gift of Your Holy Spirit residing in me. Guide me to love You wholeheartedly and spread Your love to all around me. Hear my prayer about the infertility my husband and I are suffering from. Please heal us, Lord. Jesus, Your Scriptures remind us that as we experi Jesus, Your Scriptures remind us that as we experience suffering, You are walking alongside us. Prepare to meditate: Slowly breathe in, saying “Jesus,” then slowly breathe out, saying “peace” three times. Prayer: Lord Jesus, as I read the gospel about your suffering, I know You understand my anguish and humiliation. Experiencing infertility has brought me to a place of brokenness and helplessness. Yet, I have found Your unfailing love through this journey— it’s been an opportunity to prioritize You each day. You are the way, the truth, and the life for me. Jesus, You fulfill Your promises and will help me find Your joy, regardless of my infertility experience. I surrender my self-will to You. Nothing is impossible with You (Luke 1:37 NIV). May Your great power and compassion be displayed by how You take authority over my husband’s and my fertility. I look forward to your victory over this cross we bear. I share my trust in You with others. Amen. Today’s direction: Offer a daily prayer of quiet hope to Jesus. Even when your circumstances may seem dark, remember that Jesus will empower you to have extraordinary faith and trust in His plan for you. Let Him take up your cross of infertility. How fitting that we are focusing on Psalm 96 this How fitting that we are focusing on Psalm 96 this week —a psalm of joy as we prepare to honor Jesus’s death and resurrection this Easter Sunday!  * We are called to praise the only true God, worship Him, and give glory to Him as a great and glorious Father and Creator. He wants our love and appreciation. You can use these verses of praise in your prayers to Him. * He did the supernatural and came to “we are His, earth fully God and fully man as Jesus Christ to spread God’s love, forgive us our sins, and tell us about the eternal life He has in store for those who love Him. * Our Lord reigns over the world and everything in it. It’s amazing that He created us and everything surrounding us. Prepare to meditate: Slowly breathe in, saying “Jesus,“ then slowly breathe out, saying “peace“ three times. Prayer: Lord Jesus, you were tortured, sneered at, and mocked by soldiers and critics, as you faced the incredible sacrifice of dying for our sins. Despite your circumstances, you modeled love and forgiveness when you said, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they are doing.“ Help me to embrace your simple, powerful prayer as my response to any pain or humiliation I experience from others as I walk in this valley of infertility. Prompt me to pray for those who attack me. Draw them to you, Lord. When I pray, I want to replace my hurt and unforgiveness with a clean, pure heart. Melt and mold my character to be like Yours so that I may model a mother‘s loving spirit. Amen Today’s direction: Ask God‘s Holy Spirit to reveal any traces of unforgiveness embedded in your mind.
